Each of the five guest rooms at Barretta
Garden Inn are distinctive in decor and ambiance.
Our rooms have king, queen and twin beds. All have private
bathrooms. In-room amenities include fresh flowers, bottled
water, candy, satelite television with VCR, wireless internet
connection, bathrobes, hair dryers, iron and ironing board.

Tempranillo

Pamper yourself in our first floor romantic hideaway with
an entrance off our sunset balcony. This lovely room, tastefully
decorated in burgundy, green and white, comes with a private
bath that includes a whirlpool spa for two. Forget the shower
and enjoy the pleasure of soaking in the two person tub. To
add to the ambiance, we provide candles and bath crystals
for your use.
The
mahogany bedroom set, with a queen size bed, faces the windows
where you can watch the sun set over the Sonora hills, or
simply relax in one of the two comfortable mahogany chairs
in front of fire stove—flame without heat for ambiance,
with heat for comfort.
Named
after the noble red Tempranillo grape, still a rare varietal
in California, our area is one of the few places where it
is grown. This grape is often thought of as Spain's answer
to Cabernet Sauvignon. A lush, complex wine that can age
for years.

Barbera

The
Barbers is the centerpiece of our second floor. It features
a King size bed with a brass headboard. The floral bedspread
and pastel colors used throughout the room complement the
oak furnishings which include a 6 foot high armoire. Sit
in the comfortable chairs to see the view of the surrounding
foothills. The Barbers has a private bath with tub and shower.
Named
after the grape Barbera, which is an ancient variety with
its historical roots in Italy, it is the fifth most widely
planted variety in California. The Sierra Foothills, where
very warm days are moderated by cool nights, produce some
of the state's best varietal Barberas.

Syrah

This is an attractive second floor corner room off of the
central parlor, decorated in shades of rose, cream and green.
There is a queen size bed with a mahogany headboard, a marble
topped dresser, matching marbled topped night tables and an
8 foot high armoire. The Syrah has a private bath with tub
and shower.
The
antique French furniture inspired the naming of the room
after the syrah grape, which has been proven indigenous
to France. Syrah is a fairly new variety in California,
first introduced in 1971. It is also one of California's
most rapidly increasing varieties and has found an excellent
home in our area.

Zinfandel

For sunshine lovers, this is a large corner room with a Queen
size bed and a twin bed This is an ideal room for friends
traveling together, traveling with a child or just the preference
of having two beds. The rose and white décor and white
wicker furniture makes this a cheerful and comfortable room
for your stay. The Zinfandel has an attractive private bath
just across the hall with a shower. Bathrobes are provided
for your convenience in all our rooms.
Named
after the zinfandel grape, California’s signature
wine, well suited to our climate in the Gold Country, which
has an almost mythic status--in part because of the caliber
of its wines and its remarkable versatility, and in part
because of the mystery surrounding its origins, and as our
guests that have traveled far so has the zinfandel grape,
from Croatia to Gold Rush California.

Cabernet
Sauvignon Suite ~ $195 + tax

The
old master bedroom is Victorian elegance at its best in a
symphony of whites, mauves and blues. The ten foot ceilings,
the original crystal chandelier and the ornate floor to ceiling
mirror all add to its period charm. This suite has a spacious
blue and white bathroom with lace covered windows overlooking
the rose garden and the foothills. Relax in a two person whirlpool
tub, light up the room with the candles provided and watch
the sun set from your bath. Nothing could be more romantic!
It also includes the adjoining sitting room with a wicker
day bed and fireplace (with a wall of windows surrounded by
gardens) and a private entrance off the front porch.
The suite is perfect for the romantic getaway, to celebrate
a wedding anniversary or a special birthday, or for the perfect
honeymoon location. Enjoy our Tempur-Pedic Swedish Mattress
and get a special night’s sleep!
The Cabernet Sauvignon room, named after this famous grape,
often referred to as the "King of Red Wine Grapes”
tends to favor warmer climates like our summers in the foothills
and is grown successfully by our award winning wineries nearby. |

ROOM SUITE ~ $320 + tax

The two bedroom suite includes the Syrah, an attractive second
floor corner room off the upstairs parlor, decorated in shades
of rose, cream and mauve. There is a queen size bed with a
mahogany headboard, a marble topped dresser, matching night
tables as well as an 8 foot high armoire. The Barbera, featuring
a King size bed with a brass headboard, is the second bedroom
in this suite. The furniture is oak and the room is decorated
in pastel colors. The Barbera has double doors that open into
the upstairs parlor. The parlor, decorated in mauve and gray,
is the perfect place to relax, read, play chess or other board
games on our game table. Both bedrooms have private baths
with tub and shower. |
Barretta
Garden Inn Policies

All of our room rates are per room, per night, for two adults
(double occupancy). An 8% County Transit Occupancy Tax will
be added to the room rate. In rooms with additional beds
an extra charge of $25 for each additional person will apply.
Rates are subject to change.

A two night minimum may apply on certain weekends and holidays.
·
All rooms include complimentary early beverage service and
a full breakfast, served in our dining room between 9:00am
and 10:00am.

Reservations can be made and your room guaranteed by using
a credit card. We accept MasterCard and VISA.
·
If you cancel your reservation there will be a $25 processing
fee charged against your credit card for each night of your
intended stay.
·
When cancellations are made within 14 days of scheduled
arrival, guest is responsible for the full amount of the
scheduled stay and the full amount of the reservation will
be charged to your card, unless we are able to re-rent the
room(s)
·
Longer cancellation periods will be applied to multi-room
bookings.
·
For reservations made within the 14 day period, they are
considered firm and will be charged to your credit card
on the day of your scheduled arrival
·
We do not give credit or refunds for early departures, unless
we are able to re-rent the room(s).
·
No-Shows are charged for full scheduled stay.
·
Cancellations must be made by speaking directly with the
innkeeper via the telephone in order for us to confirm your
cancellation
·
Please inform us at time of reservation of any dietary or
allergy considerations.
·
We cannot accommodate pets and smoking is not allowed in
the Inn.
·
Check In: 4:00 p.m.-6:00pm Check Out: 11:00 a.m. unless
special arrangements have been made

We do offer business travelers for the State, City, County
and School Systems the special per diem rate for travel
Monday through Thursday. The per diem is for single room
occupancy. Add $50.00 for a second person. Selected rooms
apply.
A
small inn such as ours is significantly affected by cancellations
and we appreciate your consideration of our cancellation
policy.
